PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Ha perfect for a, "you dont know what to expect from the story title",... title. heh
nice way of getting them out of there without making them turn to popsicles trying to get down that mountain missing a pair of shoes and a jacket.

See now, the mental image I get of Papa's pose in this chapter is the type that usually goes well with a leopardskin blanket and Barry White.
And now you all have that image as well. Have fun!
Ousliers = Those whose unofficial job it is to wrangle children at formal events like weddings. Everyone knows at least one aunt who is a perfect ouslier.
Oh that's going to be a fast way down the hill. Hold on Peter and don't let go.
Time to get extreme, or crazy but with a big creature going to chase you what choices do you have.
