...Or the escaped animals slaying cows - oops that were werewolves, so you can't brag about that. Maybe, maybe this could be something special too? Something you can't talk about again? No, the fuss the police makes can't be because something odd occurred. I'm absolutely certain - really. It must be because it is a honest to god (human) murderer killed an innocent citizen and got away. ... Excerpt of Peter's reaction the way Dill wants.
That look.. i have perfected that look! hahaha Alex i kinda like it the way Mom said it "deputy's sheriff" but it is backwards when compared to the previous post. So Fiona would that make Peter Scully? :P
PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

“The deputy’s sheriff didn’t say he was murdered,” Mom corrected Dill.
...sheriff's deputy?
Dill, you should know by now: you're not in CSI, you're in the X-Files.
thfulpi: I'm afraid this is probably the sound poor Mr. Baxter made while choking on dough.

Eldoran -
Or "You're absolutely right, Dill! We should do it exactly that way!"
Dill'd probably like that, too.
Alex -
Good catch. Thanks!
Fiona -
How true. He should read the sidebar on the blog: X-FILES meets the SIMPSONS.
Your V-word: grim!
AnakMoon -
You've perfected the David Caruso look?!
Yeah, I changed it shortly after I read Alex's comment...
That would make Peter Fox, and Dill would be Krycek on drugs. But nice Kyrcek before he was revealed as evil.
Actually, Peter would be Fox and Dill would be Chandler, if we could only mix the shows.
