PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

I hope Mama is the sort to be grateful for the Heimlich maneuver because I doubt anything else will deter Papa from fixing dinner.
Poor Baby, well I hope the boys help him quickly. As that would make him quite for a bit, and keep the parents at bay for a little bit if they are lucky.
I was more worried about the chemicals, since more warmers use a reaction to make heat.
The problem is what the parents will assume when they see baby in distress and Peter trying to do something to him.

Yetis are notoriously tough. I doubt a kid who chews on deer antlers will have a problem with a little bad chemical mojo.
