PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Poor Gwen, I would think that after this I would bathe and bathe and bathe but I would never get the feeling, that someone else was in my body, to leave.
And wow... he had the dream in the 30's... that's like forever ago!

And yes, getting possessed would be extremely creepy and disturbing...
Interesting, looks like when Peter saw himself out side he jumped back in time.
Dill must have ran faster, as I thought that he was in the tent as well. Could have just been me though.
Wow, daymon34, I hadn't even thought of the dream as being a sort of time travel. That it happened to both of them seems to show an outside influence. If its a person, s/he must be bound to certain rules, since s/he did help Peter, but also warned Cyrus of that help.
As far as the Dill thing goes, Peter sent him to go get Officer Jerk--I mean Jenkins--in the last chapter.

or.. what would be old enough and strong enough and wise enough to hold court over a ton such as this.

Yeah...kind of...actually, I think he's just in Cyrus's dream, which takes place in 1938...but your theory is pretty cool.
