By the way, if you listen to this promo, you can hear what the Changeling and the Swamp Monster sound like.

And here's Page 4 of the YouTube Videos!

Dill has a soul? Cool! I figured he swapped it for candy long ago.

I reckon it's the kids' souls that keep the carnies young, or give them energy, or stop them dying or whatever. They basically need them to keep going. I could be wrong of course, but that's what I first thought when they took Gwendolyn and I haven't read anything yet that makes me think otherwise!

I love the drawing of Grandfather's house in the video - I would have *loved* to live in a place like that when I was little! Hell, I still would!

LOL @ Todd

@ Cat: I had the same thought on the use of the kids' souls.

Awesome. I'm really enjoying seeing Grandpa actually talking to the boys.

Looks like road trip time. Interesting, they have things living in mirrors.

Or maybe the carnival people are from inside the mirrors, and they need the souls to stay in the real world.

Todd -
Ha! You might just be right!

Cat -
All will be soon revealed...I can't say whether you're right or wrong, you understand...

Glad you like it! Hope you like the Photoshopped version in Clip #5!

Andrea -
Yeah, I always enjoy their little sitdowns...I always especially like writing Dill and Grandfather's interactions...

I can tell you that the second part of your post isn't the case here, but it's a fascinating idea. Mind if I potentially use it for a future story?

AnakMoon -
I'm glad you liked that! I was a little worried that I didn't need Dill in there, but if he made you laugh, then I'm keeping him in.

Yeah...I think Dill has even worse luck than Peter. Things are happening to Peter for some reason, but Dill could just walk away and never does. People don't give him enough credit - the little dude could just cut Peter out of his life and stop being in danger, but he keeps following him into battle.

I was going to say that he probably likes the danger more than he wants boredom, but he DOES spend an awful lot of times watching old horror movies and FRIENDS reruns, so I'm not sure if that's true...

I don't mind, that would be interesting to see what comes of the mirrors.
