PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

Jenkins wants to catch Peter and Dill to much to believe them. But that story is quite a ways out there as well and hard to swallow.
I wonder what they are going to do to keep Gwen safe.
Uh Ohhh I just thought of a terrible way Jenkins could punish the boys.
Lucky he doesn't like Cyrus at least.
Jenkins sure is smart. Shouldn't he be curing cancer instead of investigating things that go bump in the night?
a little of topic.. but its guys like Jenkins that lets the power get to him and hes just a, my favorite swear word, a fruitbasket!

Well, Jenkins has heard a LOT of tall tales (so he believes) from Dill and Peter, and he doesn't believe a one of them...

I was thinking he could tell them to do chores for Cyrus to make up for the trouble they caused - which would give him another chance to nab them.
