Wow. Peter rules.

Yes, Petter does rock, though I don't see Barnaby dying, I do think he will get so twisted up, like a pretzel(sp?), that he will be stuck.

And I can definately say that the advertisement is working. Like others here I read these at work, and they keep me sane. So keep it up! =]

Also, are you going to publish any of these when you're done? I didn't see any word on it... I don't have kids yet, but these would be the type of stories I'd like to read to them.

Nice.

Wow. I'm quite speechless after that, and needing to pick my jaw back up off of my desk.

Oh my. That was even more gruesome than I would have done. I sure hope he just winds around it instead of the whole blood shower thing.

Looks like Bones is going to be a little tied up now, or is that wrapped up in something.

Well Peter and Dill are doing pretty good in taking out the carnival crew so far.

Yeah, I second Andrea on this; totally didn't see this coming.

Poor Dill. So much for "It won’t [come on] – see, it’s unplugged!"
Also, he's free falling for a oouple of seconds after falling through the hole? I sure hope there's something reasonably soft at the bottom, or he's gonna feel that one in the morning.

Yeah, I don't have much sympathy for Bones, either, though it would be pure awesome to have him on your side (evilness aside). OTOH, I totally expected Wally to somehow defect, since he's being ruled by fear. Oh well.

Keep up the great work! I especially love how each character is so unique.

I have to say i agree with everyone else, did not see that coming.. it crossed my mind when you first mentioned the fan but i did not think you would have gone there...
Then again you did say this was to be much darker then the previous installments.

I am so enjoying this story i just hate how slow i have to read it lol

Can not wait till you get these in book form, i will definitely be one of the first to put in my order!

Todd -
You like it when Peter goes all Tarantino, huh?

Lance -
Ha ha! I never really thought about how many people probably read this at their jobs...

I'm definitely going to publish them someday. I'm currently trying to get an agent and/or publishing company, but if that doesn't occur in a year or so, I'll begin self-publishing them.

If you're interested in reading something I've already self-published, check out www.ImaginaryFriendsBook.com, which takes you directly to the Amazon.com page. You can read the first 50 pages at www.ImaginaryFriendsBook.blogspot.com, or check out a webcomic I did for about 1/3rd of the book here.

If you like Peter, I think you might like IMAGINARY FRIENDS.

About the eventual published version of PETER AND THE VAMPIRES (and the following volumes): each book should contain 4 of the stories on these sites, and I'm considering adding in a 5th, all-new, never-before-seen story as well. Incentive to buy each new book!

And I can tell you that the first story will be an investigation into Grandfather's house itself, something I've been meaning to write, but always forgot.

I think that first, new story will be PETER AND THE BROWNIES. (Not the desserts or girl scouts, mind you.)

Cat -
Thank you! And thanks for the information on 'sidhe' the day before!

Andrea -
Really? Wow. It's funny, I never know what people are going to react to most strongly...I guess we ARE seeing a darker side to Peter than we have before...

Heh heh...just wait until PETER AND THE DOPPLEGANGER...

Rai -
Don't worry...yet.

daymon34 -
Ha ha, tied up! We'll put you in charge of narrating the haunted house ride...

Um the Muse -
Yay, I'm glad I surprised some people!

Yeah, I see what you mean...at the rate of acceleration due to gravity, he probably just fell a second or less...

Thank you on the uniqueness compliment! With such a large cast, I did have to try to come up with some pretty distinct characters this time around (versus, say, the 13 Dead Men in the garden patch).

Anthony -
Ha ha - you're with Todd on the Tarantino thing, huh.

AnakMoon -
Yay! I'll hold you to that first order promise!
