PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

I was wondering about this. Yay Peter for being brave, yet again!
Well at least those spirits are free, but now Cyrus has Peter by the arm.
I wonder if they will now age as there are less kids in the mirrors to take from.
I suspect that, in a way, this is bad news. I was hoping that Peter would only have to smash the main mirror (which still sounds like an awesome idea, now), but I think that he's going to have to break most, if not all, of the mirrors before Cyrus and mob die of old age (heehee). Well, hopefully the freed kids can help out somehow. I imagine they can't do it directly, or they'll get sucked right back in, though. Maybe Grandpa Normal can do it? If not him then Gwen? Too bad Beth isn't here; I bet she would love that job! Of course nobody could catch her for long; she is BETH!
Ok...so ghost kids came out of the mirrors.. I'm not quite sure where i want to speculate on them at the moment..
But Cyrus calling Peter an idiot... are the kids going to turn on everyone like a succubus and drain the energy out of all of them to try and regain some of their lives back? is that a power available tot hem now? Or is he just mad cause his power source is dwindling..
OH OH OH!!! since kids are being let loose will the carnies start looking older? will midge start to get flabby and wrinkly and Wally's flippers start to dry up and Leng and Eng look wizened, maybe one of the twins will die from old age and Dill can get free.... and Barnaby will get stiff with old age and only Cyrus will be strong enough to fight and that's when Grandpa comes in after all the hard work is done... *pant pant pant* oh the suspense is killing me!!! and man these speculations can get tiring!!! :P

I believe you had a dead-on prediction about 30 pages ago, I think about the freak show imprisoning the kids and living off their souls' energy. I was kind of like, "DUDE, did you steal the story off my computer?!"
