PETER AND THE VAMPIRES is a horror/comedy web novel (and a free podcast!)about a normal, 10-year-old kid who moves into a sinister town filled with supernatural horribleness. The series is composed of different "monster of the week" stories - kind of like THE X-FILES crossed with THE SIMPSONS (if Mr. Burns were a ghoul and something terrifying lived in the town dump). "Peter And The Dead Men" is the first story in the collection. A new page is posted every day.

I can just see Dill hurting himself with the spade, it is going to happen or he will toss it and miss.
Dill don't forget way back when who dared Peter to go into the garden, huh? huh?! ;)
and the expressions in the latest video are soooo cute!

"Uh, spade"
"No, dummy, we stopped playing cards ages ago. You need a weapon to possibly go toe-to-toe with an evil magician who can (and has) trap kids in mirrors and make it look like they're still alive. Oh yeah, and his mutant cronies (partners?). This fight is going to be so huge, I actually got a prophetic warning in a dream. So, what kinda weapon are you gonna use?"
"Seriously. I got a garden spade."
"We're doomed."
