Was that supposed to be *a* paper towel?

And I liked it better when I was merely confident Charlie was dead. Now I see why you said Kyle was the sickest sicko yet.

Eeeeeeeeeeeek!
Poor Charlie.

I love these stories. I started at the beginning and finally caught up to the present. (I even posted back on Peter vs. the Mannequins page 9 before I read that you wouldn’t see any old comments >.<)

This one has me especially torn, because I really love werewolves, but I really hate frat boys. So, I’m going, “Yay, werewolf!” and “Boo duchebag!” at the same time. Still, of all the werewolves out there, it’ll be much easier to watch as this lot gets vanquished. Instead of fighting the bloodlust, they are reveling in it. Thaaaaaats even more evil than your average frat boy.

I think Beth is my favorite, because she’s a warrior. I’ll bet Peter isn’t the one destined to battle the ultimate evil to lift the curse. It’s Beth. They just suspect Peter because he’s a trouble magnet, and frankly because he’s the boy. No one seems to think that the “womenfolk” should worry their pretty little heads about things like saving the universe.

Beth’s already proven that if a demon were to rise right out of heck she could kick his sack-head butt. Give her a few years to grow up and she could slay dragons.

Finally Peter figured it out, now he "only" has to survive and get rid of the problem. Hopefully his grandfather knows what to do. And if the silver bullet thing holds true, he needs someone with a gun and appropriate ammo anyway.

Draca -
Who said the warrior doesn't need a advisor (Beth doesn't strike me as a scholar)? Peter and Beth would make a good team - brain and brawn in the future.

Well the good news is if grandpa didn't hang up Peter can tell him now that they are Werewolves in town.

I have to know, is there a puddle around Dill?

Eldoran,

What an absolutely great idea! I can picture that. Peter defiantly has the heart and quick thinking to be the brains and motivator of the group. I could see him as the one with the drive to go out hunting, with his little sister along as a bodyguard, and Dill too, because he’s priceless.

Oh man i would love love LOVE a peter, Dill and Beth saga when Beth is like 16 and the boys are all grown up so they don't have to call on Grandpa anymore... i see t.v. syndication! It would be so much more interesting to watch then some of the shows they have on now. How would Gwen fit in though... would she be the 'Willow' of the group?

And i know this is supposed to be a scary suspenseful chapter but i could not help but laugh when Kyle pooped out his tail...

@daymon34--haha...I'll bet if there isn't one, it's only because he's wearing his absorbent undies :)

@Anakmoon--inoright! I totally expected the grunting and straining to be followed by a werewolf BM right on the floor.

And not trying to be a jerk, y'all, but have any of you actually met a for real frat boy, yano, in real life? I understand that it's being used as shorthand for a certain stereotype (which definitely has a basis in reality), but I get the feeling that people genuinely think all frat boys are actually Um the Muse's FratBoyz(tm).

Todd -
I don't know - I thought it was okay as is. "Tore like toilet paper," "tore like paper towel," "tore like tissue paper," that sort of thing.

Yep. He's bad, bad person.

Fiona -
Yes...

Draca -
Hey, Draca! Welcome and thanks for posting! I went back and read your comment on Page 9 of MANNEQUINS - you're right, that probably would have shut Dill up right quick!

I really should go and read all the comments. I saw one posted on Page 9 by scubadude, whom I've never run into before - what up, scubadude, if you're reading this!

Hmmm, you do have a quandary there, Draca. Anybody who usually likes werewolves might find themselves reeeaaaally hating this lot.

(By the way, to any frat boys out there reading this story, I don't think all frat dudes are bad. I had a really awesome roommate in college who was in a frat before he moved into the house. It's just when you're searching for somebody in college who would stereotypically fit the image of a self-absorbed pretty boy with a humongous sense of entitlement, it was either the school quarterback, captain of the basketball team, or the president of a frat.)

You know, I had considered making Beth a part of the troupe if these stories continue for another 6 years (of Peter's timeline), but I'd never considered her playing the role you've suggested! Pretty good idea - after all, she IS a badass! I'll have to ponder it...

Eldoran -
Another good suggestion.

daymon34 -
I wouldn't be surprised if there was a stain on his underwear.

AnakMoon -
Haha, sounds like I have something to pitch to TV networks now!

Ewwwww...it just fluffed up, AnakMoon! He didn't POOP it out!

Stormy Llew -
What up! Well, he DOES tend to squirt rather than full-on puddling...

AAAAAHHHH. The grunting and straining. Okay, now I get it - I'm taking that part out NOW.

Excellent point, Story Llew. I hadn't even read your comment when I wrote my note to Draca above.

"And if you see Johnny Football Hero in the hall, tell him he'd make a great werewolf! Tell him you liked his article in the newspaper!"

@todd--awesome! that song rocks

Thx, Darren. And I think that section reads much better now. Though the other way was definitely entertaining :)

v-word: dombion (are we still doing that?)

I'm still here... enjoying the stories. Just not much of a talker :)
