Pull the fire alarm! These dorms have to have fire alarms!
Out of the pan and into the fire, our deputy is going to love this one. But at least they are running from crazy frat boys.
At least the other two are still human, but for how long.
How come fat people are always bad guys?
Rai -
Good point...I better address that...
daymon34 -
At least Charterton is out of Jenkins' jurisdiction!
Alex -
HUH? Last I checked, two of the three bad guys in this story are buff, muscular dudes...and of all the villains I've had in the stories before this, only one (Megaton Midge) was fat, yet she was offset by a skeletal dude. In pop culture, Darth Vader's not fat, Hannibal Lecter's not fat, the Joker's not fat, Dr. Doom's not fat, Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, Leatherface aren't fat...so where do you get "How come fat people are always bad guys?"
I'm just sayin'.
Aha, logical error in yr answer to Alex: he didn't say "bad guys are always fat people" ; he said "fat people are always bad guys".
Is Jenkins fat?
Fiona -
There's some truth to what to what you say, but by extension, if fat people are always bad guys, there should be a heck of a lot more pop culture bad guys who are fat. That was my point; there aren't.
Or you should be able to point to a certain number of fat people who are bad guys, and the only ones I could come up with are The Penguin (BATMAN), the Kingpin (SPIDERMAN and DAREDEVIL, but he's also incredibly muscular), and the Clown from SPAWN. I'm sure there are some minor bad guys in modern horror movies who fit the bill, but for the life of me I can't think of a well-known, iconic one other than the Penguin.
Oh yeah - Jabba the Hutt. But come on...he's an alien.
As for characters in my stories who are overweight, only Mrs. Cashew really fits that bill, but she's based on a real-life teacher I had. In my mind, Old Man Parker from the cemetery is kind of overweight. And Rory in SWAMP MONSTER is decidedly chubby, but he's a regular kid, not a villain. Jenkins is NOT fat. Interestingly enough, the sheriff of Duskerville is pretty obese, but he's a good guy. You folks haven't seen him yet. He pops up briefly in the next story, and gets an extended scene in one after that.
She always went preppy rather than cool, and she seemed to be in denial about Greg’s weight issues.
Rory was overweight, too?
Todd -
My bad. Greg was overweight, not Rory.
I found another fat werewolf! Not on purpose, but anyway, may as well share:
